How does the I LOCK IT PRO differ from other models?
The I LOCK IT PRO offers the highest security class (up to level 16) and combines alarm, GPS tracking, app control, and a 24-hour theft check in one frame lock.
Thanks to its robust metal casing, it is particularly resistant to vandalism and attempted theft.
It also fits wide tires up to 70 mm, locks automatically when accessories are inserted, and is only minimally heavier than the other models – convenient and keyless via app, color code, or remote control.

Is the I LOCK IT PRO suitable for every bike or e-bike?
I LOCK IT PRO can be easily mounted on most bicycles and e-bikes.
Many bicycles already have suitable threaded mounts.
If these are missing, the frame lock can be easily retrofitted with installation adapters.
Thanks to its design, I LOCK IT PRO is also suitable for wide tires up to 70 mm – for example, on e-bikes or MTBs.

How long does the I LOCK IT PRO battery last?
Depending on usage, the integrated battery provides a runtime of approximately 6 to 9 months.
When the battery level is low, the I LOCK IT app will notify you in good time.
Charging is easy via the USB-C port, for example with a power bank or a standard charger.
How do I open the smart frame lock if my smartphone is dead?
Your electronic frame lock can also be conveniently opened without a smartphone. In the app, you first set a personal color code with which you can manually unlock the lock. Alternatively, the I LOCK IT PRO can be operated via smartwatch or optional remote control – completely without a smartphone, with the same convenience.

How does the I LOCK IT PRO lite differ from other models?
Like the I LOCK IT PRO, the I LOCK IT PRO lite features a robust aluminum casing, app control, the dynamic spoke avoidance system (DSA), and also fits wide tires up to 70 mm. In addition, it locks automatically when accessories are inserted and can alternatively be controlled via app, color code, or remote control.
Unlike the I LOCK IT PRO and I LOCK IT GPS, the PRO lite does not have an integrated GPS tracking function – it is a pure Bluetooth bike lock. This makes it ideal for anyone looking for a combination of robust hardware and state-of-the-art Bluetooth connection (5.1) but can do without GPS functions.

If the charge level is low, the I LOCK IT app will inform you in good time. Charging is convenient via the integrated USB-C port, for example with a power bank or a standard charger.
Is the I LOCK IT PRO lite suitable for every bicycle or e-bike?
The I LOCK IT PRO lite can be mounted on most bicycles or e-bikes – suitable threaded mounts are usually already present. If these are missing, the bike lock can be easily retrofitted with installation adapters.

I LOCK IT PLUS
How does the I LOCK IT PLUS differ from other models?
The I LOCK IT PLUS is the lightest and simplest model of our frame locks. It does not have live GPS tracking and thus offers security class 5 (expandable to level 8 with plug-in accessories) for short stops and everyday routes.
As with the I LOCK IT GPS, the spoke avoidance system of the I LOCK IT PLUS is set once during mounting on the bicycle frame. In this way, the shackle reliably moves past the spokes. The spoke avoidance function is only integrated into the lock housing of the I LOCK IT PRO.

How secure is a smart frame lock from I LOCK IT?
The bicycle lock security classes from I LOCK IT range up to Class 13 (with extension up to security level 16) and cover various areas of application.

Yes, all I LOCK IT frame locks can be easily retrofitted. Many bicycles already have suitable mounting points on the frame. If these are not available, we offer accessory solutions with which your new frame lock can be securely attached.

What can I do if my I LOCK IT no longer opens?
Should your I LOCK IT frame lock not open as usual, there are several ways:
- Check App Control: Make sure your smartphone is within range and Bluetooth is activated.
- Use Color Code: Every I LOCK IT has an individual color code, which allows you to manually open the lock at any time – even without a smartphone.
- Check Battery Level: If the battery level is very low, the lock can be unlocked again after a short charging time.
- Contact Support: If all else fails, our customer service will support you quickly and reliably.

Yes, especially for high-quality bicycles and e-bikes, GPS tracking is a useful addition. The smart frame lock from I LOCK IT immediately informs you if your bicycle is moved and automatically activates GPS tracking in an emergency.
Which GPS tracking service does I LOCK IT offer?
I LOCK IT offers an integrated GPS tracking service for compatible models such as the I LOCK IT GPS and the I LOCK IT PRO. This service includes the tracking function in the I LOCK IT app, server operation, and the required mobile data:
