Assembly

The I LOCK IT PRO lite is permanently mounted to the bicycle frame and is therefore always ready for use.
Many bicycles already have suitable mounting holes.
If these are missing, the lock can be easily retrofitted with optional installation adapters.

How does the I LOCK IT PRO lite differ from other models?

Like the I LOCK IT PRO, the I LOCK IT PRO lite features a robust aluminum housing, app control, the dynamic spoke avoidance system (DSA), and also fits wide tires up to 70 mm. Additionally, it closes automatically when accessories are inserted and can alternatively be opened via app, color code, or remote control.

In contrast to I LOCK IT PRO and I LOCK IT GPS, the PRO lite does not have an integrated GPS tracking function – it is a pure Bluetooth bicycle lock. This makes it ideal for anyone looking for a combination of robust hardware and state-of-the-art Bluetooth connectivity (5.1), but who can do without GPS functions.

How does the automatic opening work?

Our bike locks automatically connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth, recognizing it even when it's in your pocket. As you approach your bike, the smart frame lock opens automatically. In the I LOCK IT App, you can individually set the distance at which the lock should open.

How long does the I LOCK IT PRO lite battery last?

The integrated lithium-ion battery reliably powers I LOCK IT PRO lite for about an entire cycling season (approx. 6 to 9 months).

If the charge level is low, the I LOCK IT app will inform you in good time. Charging is conveniently done via the integrated USB-C port, for example with a power bank or a standard charger.

Is the I LOCK IT PRO lite suitable for every bicycle or e-bike?

The I LOCK IT PRO lite can be mounted on most bicycles or e-bikes – suitable threaded mounts are usually already present. If these are missing, the bike lock can be easily retrofitted with installation adapters.

The smart frame lock is also suitable for wide tires up to 70 mm – for example on e-bikes or MTBs.

How do I open the smart frame lock if my smartphone is dead?

Your smart frame lock can also be conveniently opened without a smartphone. In the app, you first set a personal color code with which you can manually unlock the lock. Alternatively, the I LOCK IT PRO lite can be operated via smartwatch or optional remote control – completely without a smartphone, with the same convenience.
